Lilo & Stitch: A Live-Action Film Coming in 2025!

Lilo & Stitch is a beloved saga known by many! Imagine our surprise when we learned that a live-action movie is set to release in 2025. When? Who? Where? … Let’s answer all your questions!

Lilo & Stitch was originally an American animated film directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, released in 2002.

Lilo Pelekai is a young Hawaiian girl living in Kauai. She is orphaned and raised by her older sister, Nani, after their parents’ tragic death in an accident. Lilo struggles to make friends, partly due to her eccentric behavior and her fascination with everything strange and unique.

One day, Lilo adopts a pet from a shelter, naming him Stitch. What she doesn’t know is that Stitch is actually Experiment 626, an alien designed to destroy everything in his path.

Initially, Stitch causes chaos, but over time, as he spends more time with Lilo, he begins to develop feelings and understands the concept of family and love. Their relationship highlights the Hawaiian concept of "ohana," meaning family. The film emphasizes that family means no one gets left behind or forgotten.
