Circle of Mud Returns with *Inside The Circle*

Circle of Mud is back on October 18, 2024, with their fiery blues-rock album *Inside The Circle*, released through Dixiefrog. The first single, "Snake," showcases the energy and passion of this French band.

Circle of Mud delights fans of hard-edged blues rock, featuring prominent guitars in the grand tradition of the 1970s. Led by the duo of Flo Bauer (vocals/guitar) and Gino Monachello (guitar/lap-steel), the Alsatian group blends "roots" influences with contemporary elements, crafting a fresh take on blues rock.

Their references span from Mountain to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Joe Bonamassa, but the band doesn’t stop there. Powerful vocals, heavy riffs, and crisp production elevate their sound, making this sophomore album a triumph.

*Inside The Circle* proves to be even better than their debut—well-written, full of passion and intensity, with standout tracks like "Snake," "Where We Belong," and "Deep Inside of Me."

Circle of Mud chooses to break free from traditional blues, adding sharp riffs and a massive sound without sacrificing melodic subtlety, harmonized vocals, or backing choirs.

The band was formed by Gino Monachello on guitar and lap-steel, soon joined by young vocalist/guitarist Flo Bauer, and bolstered by a powerful rhythm section—Matthieu Zirn on drums and Franck Bedez on bass. The whole project is expertly guided by producer David Husser.

Like their first album, *Inside The Circle* was produced by Husser at Studio La Grange. The strength of this project lies in delivering music that is both accessible and profound—an instant classic rock album.
