Paris Orly, our electro-pop UFO, in discovery with *Il va falloir déménager*, from the album *La Réserve* scheduled for 01/11/2024.

Paris Orly is one of the exciting discoveries in inventive Francophone pop, offering self-critique of modern society. Reminiscent of Bertrand Burgalat and the Tricatel label, their music is lush, highly crafted, with mature and carefully written lyrics.

Paris Orly – La Réserve

Paris Orly reveals a disillusioned worldview, reflecting the disenchantment of suburban neighborhoods, parking lots, roundabouts, and shopping centers. With *La Réserve*, there’s also a strong ecological awareness and deep concern over biodiversity collapse, as explored in the song *Il va Falloir Déménager*.

Two years after their 6-track EP *Dans les espaces intermédiaires*, the album *La Réserve* is on the horizon. Expect a vintage, stripped-back 80s electro sound reminiscent of Taxi Girl, early Daho, and bands like The Cure and OMD. Paris Orly releases their first album *La Réserve* on November 1, 2024, mastered by sound engineer Bruno Morisetti like their first EP. This second offering delves further into their world, featuring synthesizers, sequencers, and drum machines, occasionally accompanied by harmonica.

Armed with his 1986 Alpha Juno synthesizer and TR 707 drum machine, Paris Orly delivers a magnificently disillusioned debut album *La Réserve*. It offers a grim reflection on modern times, the lifestyle offered, transportation, and the ecological crisis.

Musically, the minimal synthetic production and synth arpeggios hark back to OMD, Visage, Ultravox, and Depeche Mode, bringing joy to hear this very 80s sound today: innocence and spontaneity, made for dancing. We love it!
